SSC CGL Exam 2025 : Tier-1 to Commence From September 12, Exam center fixed within 100km Rang – confirms SSC Chairman
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the official timetable for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025. As per the notification issued, the Tier 1 exam is scheduled to take place between September 12 and September 26, 2025.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam 2025 will be held in computer-based format and conducted in multiple shifts over a 15-day period. This arrangement highlights the Commission’s readiness to manage the large turnout of candidates participating in the graduate-level recruitment test
Detailed exam schedule for SSC CGL Tier1 2025
From September 3, 2025, candidates will be able to view their allotted examination city details by logging into the official SSC website through the specified login module. The Commission will issue the Admission Certificates (admit cards) 2–3 days prior to each candidate’s exam date. Aspirants are strongly advised to download and print their admit cards in advance to prevent any last-minute inconvenience.
Key Sections covered in Tier 1 Sysllabus
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam consists of four main sections:
* General Intelligence & Reasoning
* General Awareness
* Quantitative Aptitude
* English Comprehension
Candidates will be required to prepare for all these sections to qualify for the next stage of the recruitment process. The Tier 1 exam is qualifying in nature and will be conducted across various examination centres nationwide.
